Mekanism Digital Miner

The Digital Miner in the Mekanism mod is one of the most useful machines in the game, but also one of the most expensive. This machine can scan for ores and mine and teleport them to the surface. You create the Digital Miner by combining two teleportation cores with atomic alloys, refined obsidian ingots, a control circuit, two logistical sorters and a Robit. Once you have the Digital Miner, set it up somewhere where you can power it. The green power plugs are where you can connect the power cables. Then connect a item  transporter to the back of the Miner and hook it up to a chest. Once the Digital Miner is powered you can set a filter by typing the dictionary name of the ore(s) you want to mine. You can get these names from the Dictionary, which is craftable with a book and control circuit.

Mekanism Ore Processing

Ore processing in Mekanism is probably the best use of Mekanism’s factories. The first tier of ore processing is just the standard 1 ore =1 ingot. This process used an Energized Smelter to process the ores. The next level is ore doubling, using an Enrichment Chamber to turn the ores into 2 dusts then smelting those in the Energized Smelter to get ore doubling. Tier 3 is more complicated, using a Purification Chamber to grind the ores into 3 clumps. Then a Crusher turns these clumps into dirty dusts, finally an Enrichment chamber turns the dirty dusts into dusts and an Energized Smelter turns those into ingots. These three levels of ore processing are the most commonly used, as the other 2 tiers require late game items, such as obsidian ingots. This system can be made even more efficient with the use of factories, which can process up to 8 items at a time.

MineColonies Restaurant and Bakery

The Restaurant and Bakery in MineColonies buildings are an important step in fully automating your town. If you give the Restaurant or Bakery the ingredients to make food and teach them the recipes that they will need to make the food, they can craft food for you. The Bakery only makes baked items, such as a cake or pumpkin pie, while the Restaurant will make almost any other form of food. This is important because your villagers need food to continue working, and the Restaurant and Bakery provide an easy alternative to having to give them food manually.

Advanced Rocketry

Advanced Rocketry is a mod that adds planets, stars, asteroids, space stations and more. These planets and moons can be visited with fully functional rockets. Asteroids can be mined for ores including gold and diamonds. Other planets have different biomes and atmospheres. Meaning on some planets you don’t have to wear a space suit. These biomes range from barren Mars lookalikes to Earth like marshes. Advanced Rocketry also includes satellites, which can bee used for everything from scanning for ores to locating planets. These is also space stations included in the mod, which start off as a simple platform but can be built bigger with space station blocks.

MineColonies Farmer

The Farmer in Minecolonies is a very useful villager, able to harvest and vanilla crop and some modded ones too. First you have to build the Farmer his house and assign a villager to the job. Then, make a Scarecrow that will designate the field. Place this in the center of your field and right click on it. You will see s single inventory slot. Place the seed of the plant that you want to grow in here (it does not consume the seed). Then give the Farmer a hoe and seeds of the same type of the ones that you designated at the field. The Farmer can farm multiple fields depending on the level of its house.

Minecolonies Builder’s Hut

The builder in MineColonies is probably the most useful job, and the best one to assign your workers to in the beginning. The builder’s house block is made with a building tool, 7 wood planks and a door of the same type of wood. Once you place this on the ground, the villager with the best traits to be a builder will be assigned a builder’s role. Builders can still construct low level things when their house hasn’t been built, but in order to build high level things like a guard tower, or a miner’s hut, you need to construct their building. The Builder’s hut has different levels that let your Builder build higher leveled colony buildings per level of house.

MineColonies Animal Herders

The MineColonies animal herders are an important addition to your village, letting you have an automated system for breeding and butchering your animals. The four types of animal herders are: the cowboy, who herds cows, the shepherd who herds sheep, the swine herder who herds pigs, and the chicken herder, who… oh never mind, I’m sure you can guess. Once you have built their hut you have to supply them with two of each animal, an axe and the animal’s preferred food (in the case of a cowboy or a shepherd, you also need to give them a bucket or shears to milk their cows and shear their sheep). The herder will breed the animals, and when it has more than 2 animals it will butcher the animals, giving you a supply of meat, leather and feathers depending on the animal.

MineColonies Soldiers

The Minecolonies soldiers are an important part of keeping your village safe and happy. There are two types of guards: Rangers and Knights. The Ranger, if given a bow, will shoot infinite arrows at enemies, while the knight will attack raiders with it’s sword. Both Ranger and Knight can only use certain weapons and armor which is dependent on the guard tower’s level. For example a level 1 Knight can only wield a wood or stone sword, and can only wear leather armor. If a Ranger’s guard tower gets to level 5, it can receive enchantments on it’s bow, for added damage.

MineColonies

MineColonies is a mod that lets you build a village with different jobs for each villager, ranging from guard to miner. To start your village you either need to craft a supply ship or supply crate. These contain a chest that has a blueprint of a town hall inside. Once you build your town hall you will start getting villagers, which can be assigned to various tasks. The beginning class is Builder, which lets you command them to build buildings, if you give them the materials that they need. You can also upgrade village buildings to higher levels to let them for example, house more people, or to make them work faster and more efficiently.

IC2 Nano Armor

The Nano Saber and armor is the second most powerful armor in IC2 after the extremely late game Quantum Suit. The Nano Armor has the same protection as diamond but has no durability, meaning that it won’t ever break. The Nano Saber does 8 damage, compared to diamond’s 7, and again won’t break. It also has light effects and will immediately break any Nano Armor it attacks. The Nano Helmet also has a HUD, showing the power of all of the items that you are holding or wearing. You can also enable night vision on your helmet to see in the dark. The Nano Boots give you a 30% fall damage reduction as well as being indestructible
